Russian Government Scholarship (Quota)

Russia's flagship state programme, administered by Rossotrudnichestvo and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Applications go through one official portal, and selection is run by the Russian embassy or Rossotrudnichestvo office in your own country.

Association of Global Universities

Open Doors: Russian Scholarship Project

An online competition run by the Association of Global Universities. Winners are admitted to one of 24 leading Russian universities with tuition paid by the government and no entrance examinations. Held annually since 2017.

Phystech.International Olympiad (MIPT)

An online mathematics and physics olympiad run by the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. A strong result earns a recommendation letter to your local Rossotrudnichestvo office and a tuition discount if you enrol on a fee-paying basis.
